Garden Party

It is more than 5 years when I moved from "big" city to small village with ~1000 inhabitants. I did it because of incoming of new life stage: wife, childrens, house.... In that days I had no idea how my life will be changed.
These days I have beautifull wife, great doughters and nice house. Absoulte paradise for introvert as I am.
When I planed to move (5 years ago), I forgot on one important factor - "neighbours". I really had not expect any significant influence on my/our life and it was the biggest "under estimeate" I ever did..
My life changed, beside of nice familly I found new friends in my neighbourds and they are really greats. We help each other, have fun together, we are very close and open each other.
Now in sommer days we spend every weekend days (Fri-Sun) together offten in form of "garden parties" where the inviter is changing every week. Garden partie is about very good food, beer in keg (there are excelent breweries in Czech), wine, nice chats - we have very good time.

Now you maybe think what is the point. The point is that I am happy and I want to share the feeling.

If you have feeling that life is perfect, shift happens.
It happened 21.10.2010 (day of my 31 birthday), I was on one-day business trip in Wien in HQ of company for I am working. It is my 4. job and finally job I really like.
It was quite ordinary meeting regarding sales strategy for Spanish and UK market, when we received information about "insolvency" of Mother Company (btw. caused by circumstances in Australia division).
Nowadays we have no clear and trustful information about the future, but I am sure that I will not forget on this birthday.
Companies all over the world have their hands up right now because they have no idea what the future might hold for them... Trust me when I say you are not alone... It sucks no doubt and we feel your pain...
Just keep your chin up and do the best you can to help keep your company alive... If you feel the company will soon end, then start looking for something else before it's too late...

Ah it happens all the time. I guess now is the hardest time of all for it to happen. I think I'm in a similar position for the first time in over ten years and there are no jobs out there, but I guess it's a case of wait, see, trust in others and think positive.

For me, the last 2 months have been CRAZY....... All kinds of toy fairs, expos, Hong Kong, electronic expositions,etc.,etc., We market (under license) Barbie, Timex, iHome products, we are VERY SUCCESSFUL in our branding, but sometimes I wonder....... I've seen people come and people go, not always under the best of circumstances, and I always say a prayer for them, for their families, for how they're lives " took a turn " and I wonder, what's next for them, what's next for me...... I awake each day and Thank GOD for waking me up and giving me a path to follow, not always the path I want, but a path that leads me forward..... And many times in my life I've been down, but many times I've been more than blessed with riches.... I guess what I'm trying to say is no matter what happens, when you wake up tomorrow, it's a brand new day!!!! You're blessed just to be alive..... Kiss your wife,girlfriend, kiss your kids,mother,father, brother, sister, kiss your wife AND your girlfriend, think about what you have instead of what you don't, or what you want, and things look pretty good from that perspective.... When someone says "hi, how you doing" tell em "better than some, worse than others!!! try not to hurry, it's just not your worry

Hi There, yeah, I game, only as part of the job, I really don't have a lot of time, especially with the holidays QUICKLY approaching... However, I would like to relax a little more, and gaming always accomplished that goal.... Maybe end of Jan., I'm good for a month or two ( conservatively ), but I would like to contribute a little more to this site... lord knows I'm not gonna win the million from Marlboro... But through that I found this site, and that's not a bad thing..... Anyhow, I'm beat, it's late, and I have a 10:00am meeting tomorrow. Good Night all, and God Bless You......

Good for you, Paulino, that you have been able to find a little paradise here on earth.
