Sorry to say I didn't know of him... But if he directed those you mentioned and I'm sure many others, then his talent will surely be missed...

I actually only enjoyed one of those films, Empire. But the film I did enjoy is amongst my top ten of all time.

Yeah, Empire is one of my favs too. It is a great movie.
