got broken sword from gog 1-3. the first one was okay for a animation, not wrapped on 2 at all but 3 I am loving it. Such a long game also. My first impressions were that I couldn't play this game with just using a keyboard, but after I worked out what keys did what I was right as rain.

Good news, Lynne, as I want to DL Broken Sword games. However, am I to understand it is not a mouse driven game?

Wow they are kicking it old school. You see Jim in the olden days there was only the keyboard and before that we just had sticks and rocks to play tic tac toe. :P

jim,

1 & 2 are mouse but 3 is keyboard. its moving around with the arrow keys & the shift key & arror to run. the other keys are A,S,W,D these keys toggle the action menu.

I like the mouse with movement as using the arrors I bang into walls but I am getting better at that. My lost via domus game uses keyboard but a bit easier & its only running from the smoke monster that I have use all the movement keys to complete this task.

Personally I think they should design all games that allow you to change your controls.

So did Monkey Island 4. I'm really not that fond of keyboard only games. Probably because it takes away the nostalgia.

jim,

I really only liked broken sword 3 -sleeping dragon. No.1 was okay although its just like a cartoon type game, No.2 I gave up finishing that one.

There is also Broken Sword 4 The Angel of Death, which is supposed to be pretty good too.

broken sword 4 looks good also, but no-one seems to have it available for download.
I downloaded the demo & for some reason it doesn't like dual processors so you need to disable other cores to play the game. The figures in the game show as black shadows but the background images are perfect. Once you set the pc to run on a single core the game is perfect.

Hi all.

Can confirm that Angel of death is superior to The sleeping dragon.
It even refers to the TSD with an snapy comment about George not wanting to push crate's.

And for thos guys who prefers point and click to keyboard movment, be happy, nr.4 is point and click :D

Dont think thers a problem with multicores on the full game though, cause i played it on my old dual core when it came out without any problems.
