A message board question, Not Texy stuff.

Earlier today I saw on the member screen that someone was hidden. I guess I'm wondering how and why you would do that. If you log out, you show up as a guest. Do you get the ability to still post and receive PM's as hidden? What would the advantage be?
I guess my bigger question is why the cloak and dagger??? I took a shower this morning, I don't smell bad! jk

Maybe it's...Tex himself! Not CJ, but TM! Or maybe it's AC, who might not want to be barraged with PM's or threads when sighted.

P.S. Did you really just ask "why the cloak and dagger"? On a Tex website?

Don't know about the who's and why's but here's how.

Click the 'Profile' link at the top of the page when logged in.
Scroll down to 'Preferences' and change 'Hide Online Status' to 'Yes'.

There. You are now a ninja of the black stealth clan!

...or something....

Wow! I want to be a ninja, too! Good thing all it takes to be a ninja are some pajamas and a bad japanese accent. Not like I'd have to do years of training and discipline for that line of work.

My congrats, Jen! Whole topic about me.
Yes, I can post and I can receve PM's. Cloak and dagger? I don't have cloak and dagger. Just swinging knife. You took shower and don't smell bad? Good!

Take care
Alex.

Hey, Jen! It's only Nov. 16th - why take a shower so soon before winter?

Jim,

In your case, just because you can't remember when you took your last shower, doesn't mean it wasn't yesterday!

Showers once a month? Now that's an idea. Here I've been going twice yearly, but I think once a month might improve my chances with the ladies.

Uhhh, what's a ... how do you say ... shower? Is that like someone who likes to show off a lot? Incidentally, my room has been smelling weird lately. Sort of like stale fritos and year old rotten sour cream.

Ya know, you guys laugh, but I was in a youth hostel near Berlin once years ago, and my brother took a shower and came out smelling worse than when he went in. No joke. We dubbed it the anti-shower. It was awful.
