Hundreds of potential backers right here:
Hi all, I was driving home from work today, and remembered James had a peition on on the board where people could sign to show their support for Tex. I also had a peition in which I gathered hundreds of people... The one I did I'm not too sure is still alive, I'll search, but the one James did is right here! : http://unofficialtexmurphy17995.yuku.com/forums/4
Now who's to know which people who signed know about Kickstarter, and which haven't... This could be a gold mine right here! We need to contact every username on that list!

Now I just need to remember, what email address I used to have the signatures sent to... I had close to a thousand If I remember correctly!

Also, if we can find any of the old guest books from any of the old sites (if they are still accessible), these could be fillled will new backers aswell... Sure some email addresses might not work now... but hey, I think it's worth trying!

In addition to sending a PM to their old forum account, if Googling their username you may find they've been active somewhere else recently. I've found some on Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Google Groups or other forums. Though of course it could be someone else with the same username so I do note an apology if it's going to the wrong person, though in some cases it can be obvious they're the same person (real name, same location etc.). So I think I am hopefully reaching a few dedicated fans who may not of heard of the Kickstarter yet!
It would be awesome if James could mass PM people here on this forum.

Anyone gone through this guestbook yet?

I'd be happy to cull the names and emails into a spreadsheet, if that would be useful to the cause.

LOL! I just found my guestbook entry from September 8, 1998. (Guess I'm not a total noob) I still have the same email address dating all the way back to 1995.
Just make sure not to add "Phentermine" or "OnlineDegree" to your emailing list
Edit: Yes, it would be great if James could send out an email to all the registered users.
