Plan 10 Movie getting the MST3K treatment (Confirmed!)

YAY!!

Thanks Frank for asking them during one of their Kickstarter commenting sessions. I was asleep when it happened. I hope they add it as a reward tier, maybe just around the Plan 10 movie. There are a lot of MST3K fans who might up their pledge to get the movie in knowing there'll be a Mystery Science Theater 3000-style funny commentary.

We will definitely MST3K the Tex Murphy - Plan 10 movie. It's DREADFUL, but in an amusing way!
They mentioned they'd consider this in the UTM chat in responce to my question/suggestion but I wasn't sure if they had decided to go ahead. I am really looking forward to listening to that haha.
Sai writes: Considering the B-movie homage, would it be possible, in addition to the director/cast commentary with the "Plan 10" film, to do a parody Mystery Science Theater 3000 style commentary? I'd think Rook (in character) would love to take jabs at it and others could make funny comments too. An evil GRS security robot could be the one forcing them to do commentary (in reference to the robots in MST3K). Just audio would be fine to keep it cost-effective (in the vein of the newer cheap audio-only Rifftrax by the same crew as MST3K). Lots of cult MST3K fans might up their pledge to get it!

Chris & Aaron: Sai, that's hilarious! We love MST3000. And, actually, when we watch stuff, we're pretty much like that. We'll consider doing something like that.

 Yes! And there's so much stuff to make fun of in it... affectionately, of course.

Will Adrian be there? That would be great-- or not. His film knowledge might make it too difficult to bear. Especially the editing. :P
I think it'd be funny if Doug was there criticisizing how silly Tex looks on his first low budget case lol. Rook loves any chance to take a jab at Tex.

Adrian would be good in the Director/Cast commentary (I assume thats also going to be done still with a more serious look at how the film budget went down the crapper). But Adrian has a good sense of humour too :) I liked his comments on the UTM chat saying the dog was the one typing hello

I sort of meant to put them on the spot about it, but it seems I didn't have to after all! It was already set in their mind.

Now I can't wait to see this!
