To Any Present $5000+ Backers
Soooo, who's going to be traveling to SLC eventually? I got an email from Chris saying it depended, in part, on my schedule, leading me to assume that we can all choose when to go. Of course, a group would be better to go at once than individuals, I'd think. But does anyone have extra information on it? Whether you do or not I think we should network so we can maybe all work something out. Of course, we can direct message each other or something if people don't want others to know how much they put into the project.

I do know that most of the backers going to SLC are torn between the idea of us all meeting up and having a mini UTM get together an the fact that they would all like to have their own individual special day of VIP treatment from the Big Finish Team. Also it may not be so convenient for them to have a whole bunch of people to entertain while things are in production and may be easier for them to host one at a time?
This is how we Kick It! GO BIG (Finish) or Go Home!

Yeah I had the same thought. I wanted to have the opportunity to ask them all my questions instead of having to wait my turn like we've been doing so far. I was also hoping to try and time my visit during a time when they might be shooting some scenes so I could watch a bit. How about we think about having a launch party in SLC as a group instead? I know they are planning their own but it might be fun for us to get together then and then pop in/crash the official party for the 10k backers.

I think some of us might enjoy our own time there, but I do like the idea of a mini UTM get together and maybe we can have our own *after* premiere party!sam10100 wrote:Yeah I had the same thought. I received an email from Chris and he told me that they were thinking of hosting the $5K backers individually, since people at that tier have to provide their own transportation to SLC. As for $10K, hosting the "walk-on" role folks as a group may be possible, but all the details regarding the filming schedule have not been worked out yet. Yes, he put walk-on in quotes, which leads me to believe there may be a line or two of actual dialog available. Suh-weet.

Aw sorry. No crushing intended
But from reading around a walk-on role can sometimes involve a few words so it doesn't rule it out! It could be a walk-in to Brew & Stew then standing-at the counter then sitting-on a bar stool then ordering a Armageddon blend (then a collapsing-on the floor after drinking said blend).
