Detective Grimoire - a quirky noir style adventure game
I just found this project on Kickstarter:

Looks like a lot of fun. It almost looks like a cross between Grim Fandango and Maniac Mansion in the way it combines animation with unique settings and story telling structure plus its use of humour. Best of all, it's not too taxing on the hip pocket. I have a feeling this could be a good one should it reach its deadline.

Looks good, unfortunately it's for: Available for iPad, iPhone, Android Tablets and Android phones! of which I don't have any. Have an HP Touchpad but don't know if that runs android or not. Hey, i still play Commodore 64 games, don't know this new stuff, lol.
Another good looking adventure game on KickStarter is Jack Houston and the Necronauts. Looks to be along the vein of LucasArts game The Dig and Full Throttle. And it plays on computers. Got my backing.

Since its based in Flash, Adobe AIR can turn a Flash game into a desktop game (as with the Machinarium point and click adventure etc.). I found this post from October 2011:
http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?P ... #msg624922I can also announce officially that this game is being created in Adobe AIR for iOS/Android. Initially I was building it in cocos2d, but AIR suddenly got really good and all the animations were being done in Flash anyway, so it was a really quick catch up port to AS3.
We'll be targeting both tablets and phones, possibly desktops too if we can!
They also posted this image in June 2012 which says "initially for iOS / Android":

So maybe a desktop release will come later.
