Thanks.
Usually I just stay in but might hit the shops tomorrow (its the day for shop sales, but doubt there will be too many amazing deals on stuff I'd be looking for I think, probably mostly electronics, clothes etc.).

Oh hey my bad. Sorry I forgot. Does this mean Boxing Day applies for the Australians too? Any other British colonies out there?

It's a good day for the Rocky Trilogy: Rocky, Rocky II and Rocky Balboa.

I'm feeling suicidal enough to hit the shops tomorrow. Many PS3 games are on sale, you see!

So how does boxing day work? You get a bunch of people together, get the gloves on and hammer each other till you pass out, or what?
Or do you just sit around watching old Marciano fights, reminiscing about the old days?
And if there is a boxing day, why isn't there a football day? Notice I said Football and not Soccer. Yes, yes, I'm learning!
Happy Holidays to all youse people that I love from all around the world!

Because American Football should really be called Throw, Kick, Run With or Tackle the Guy With an Oblong Ball.

I think alot of Brits don't know why its called Boxng Day either or have their own ideas (including jokes about actual boxing). Even the wiki says:
The exact etymology of the term "boxing" is unclear. There are several competing theories, none of which is definitive
I guess I think of it as being "boxing stuff up" for sale or all the leftover unsold boxes of stuff that is to go on bargain, or something, but thats unlikely it. The wiki gives a few theories, but these days they don't seem to fit with how the day is spent now heh.
