Poll: Has time caught up with the actors yet??

Is it still possible to do a FMV tex game because of the age factor?

I was wondering if people thought that since so much time has passed since UKAM, Pandora and Overseer that the actors are now too old??
After seeing Chris Jones in a recent interview I saud to myself: "Damn! He ain't lookin' half bad!"

...So no, they are not too old... after all, makeup artists these days work wonders!

I have seen Chris recently, in person, and he still the same - a little wiser maybe but let himdon the fedora, trenchcoat and sneakers and he's still the same ol' Tex. As for Chelsee, I haven't seen Suzanne since we finished Overseer but she takes good care of herself so I dare say these two will pick up where they left off. If she has let things slide - there's always the gym

It's interesting to note that the younger generation's perception of people older than themselves is that we age at the same rate as they do. You'll be surprised to learn that as you get older your face matures, and yes the body too [sometimes gracefully - sometimes, well...].

Tex and Chelsea are the only ones who matter. Any of the others can age, since most of them are mutants anyway. And Chris still looks pretty good.

Say, Dalton, why don't you get busy and make some mindless, broad-appeal popcorn flick that will make some money so that you can go ahead and finance another Tex project before Chris and Suzanne get too old? Wow - that's so simple I'm surprised no one has thought of that tack yet!
I'm workin' on it Jerry. Even Chris, Aaron and myself have toyed with the idea of a quickie flick to raise the requisite dollars - but even the flick has to generate enough money to make back its own costs first, then if we make $5 mill profit...

I don't have anything pround to add...I'm just trying to catch up with Cub for the most posts.

What if I quote you and you quote me? I guess that helps :D.

Or make a list of 98 reasons why Tex Murphy is so great.... in separate posts of course ;) (this doesn't account for the fact that by the time you've thought of 98 different reasons, Cubase will of probably widened the gap by 200 more posts  )

Awww come on folks, this is not a competition.

*Hurls brick through Jim's window*

Remember Jim, I am going on holidays for a week starting this Sunday, you will have plenty of time to post your brains out. :D

Besides Jim, you are a quality over quantity kinda guy.

I feel so miniscule (sp?) in regards to the highest number of posts on this board...I"m gonna go sulk now.

Hummm.....

Perhaps Chris Jones as the next kaiser Soze?
It's not just the actors. Look at the difference in quality between UAKM and Overseer. The graphics move on but we still love the look and feel of the games. And bear in mind most the actors wore some kind of mutant makeup, so that shouldn't change things.

Don't forget too that Harrison Ford will still play Indy and that's been nearly 20 years now. Chris has a long way to go before he's too old.
He, he, he. So, Cub will be on vacation for a week, eh? TOG will shift into high gear. Beware the Ides of....Feb.

Damn glad to hear that, Mr. Carr! :D I hope, I'll see Tex(Chris Jones) and Chelsee(Suzanne Barnes) again. Their age means nothing to me. About the other actors: I don't need them.
Truly yours,
Alexander.

I agree, Alex. (485 and counting)

(TOG lets the air out of Cub's tires.)
