Making waves

Well, with Cubase's recent win I guess we'll all have to work on becoming famous now. That should give us some clout to bring back a certain detective (or at least spark some real public interest). Which makes me a little curious: Who else here is in (or working their way towards) the limelight. I know Mike R. is on his way, and Cubase is making some waves. Any other tales of fame (if not fortune)?

I plan to be a famous author. I will one day write a book so big, that it will dwarf War and Peace, and the paperback version will be classified as a weapon, and not allowed on airplanes.

Well, I'm about to finish my very first movie short soon. When I have it done I will be sending it to film festables and such. Plus I'm looking into getting it played here in local theater. You know to enter a movie to be elegable to win a Oscar, that a movie or short has to pe played in only one movie theater for a weekend? I'm not gunning for that, but it sure would be fun to try :D . You can see a trailer for White Powder on my myspace film thingy.

Enjoy. Later.

Nick! PLEASE, don't remind me about "War and Peace" book. I HATE L.N.Tolstoy. He was sick. Psyho.

Psycho? I'm no pacifist-anarchist, but I'm not sure I'd call him "sick". Maybe you know something I don't? (Or maybe we shouldn't get into it here :P )

Um...Alex...that kind of talk can tend to get a few folks a bit testy.
Book burning is a frowned upon practice 'over here'.

Just thought you might like to know. Cultural differences and all.
