24 is the best show/series on TV - in my opinion. We have seen them all and eagerly look forward to the coming season. I strongly recommend this for first timers. However, it would be advisable to rent seasons 1-5 to familiarize yourselves to the story.

I guess, it's just a piece composed specifically for 24. (at least it sounds like typical soundtrack music).
The composer for 24 was Sean Callery. Maybe you could find some information on his homepage:

Thanks all. I actually found where the music came from. It's from The Life Of David Gale Soundtrack and the song is called Almost Martyrs. Although I'm sure I've heard it on many other things before. If it had been 24 music I would of heard it for sure, as I'm a huge 24 fan. hehe. It's my favourite show on TV, Jim!

Yeah True, it looks to be a fan made video using music form various found sources. As I said, really well done.

Indeed an incredible series and I've watched them all as well although we in Denmark still haven't got all episodes of season 5. I think we've come to episode 6 of season 5 or something like that and I'm eager to find out what happens in the next episodes
I also heard they had make contracts for both season 6, 7 and 8, so that sounds promising for us "24" fans
Anyway - like JTOG said ... if you're a first time viewer it's better to watch the series from the beginning as the story evolves and it's always nice to know the backstory of some happenings

It's actually the same I did just recently as my girlfriend and I began to watch Alias from season 1. We've now reached episode 5 in season 4, so we've seen quite a few episodes in a short time
