Kevin McCarthy. Wow! He's a legend. I remember him from classic genre TV and movies.
That'd be my vote.
edit to add.
HOLY COW! Check out his credit lists! It's huge.

Considering how surprisingly old Kevin is he seems the perfect choice. Sooner or later he will sleep the big sleep.

Just taking a look at Kevin McCarthy's bio, that is an impressive list of appearances. I too would vote for Him... manly becuase if there is something interesting to tell, he will be the man to tell it.

I vote McCarthy. Considering he started acting back in the fifties, having starred in the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers, he's bound to have a long list of work listed under his name.
As for Clint Howard, one of his worst performances of all time was in Overseer. So...yeah.

I was going to put in more, but half of it wasn't truthful and the other half wasn't necessary. And he really sucked in Overseer. At the time I didn't know who Clint Howard was, and when I saw his character on screen, I thought he was supposed to be some sort of demented Richard Simmons.

Hey, it just occured to me that someone is conspicuously missing from the list. I hope it's not because he's no longer with us, but what about Barry Corbin? Jackson Cross! My favorite all time villain. Books, movies, games...Jackson Cross is the greatest villain.
