I've an announcement; I met a girl.

And not just like meeting a girl you think is cute either, it's the whole shebang - Total chemistry match, true love at first sight.

It does exist - never let anyone ever tell you different!

Now I'm going to go off and enjoy that special chemical reaction that happens to the human brain when it's deeply and madly in love.

I am dancing on roses. Her name is Lovise. (Scandinavian version of Louise, if I were to guess)

And she is truly, truly something.

Nothing like finding someone special in your life, and I wish you the best of luck with her. You have our support should you ever need to gush about it.

Be sure to keep us posted, it's always good to hear the good news... and I expect nothing less than avatar changes! That's an order (coming from a fellow impulse changer myself, who happens to feature his own romantic interest in the conent).

Hey - Congratulations Fred ... It's cool and absolutely great to hear that you've found something who can turn your knees to jelly (to use a good ol' Tex-phrase). We're looking forward to the avatar-changes

I myself have also changed my avatar lately from my cool Monkey Island 3 pirate-dance to a photo of myself with my (at the time) 5½ month old nephew (photo taken in late august). He's just adorable!

On that photo Netroam, you kind of look like Kenny Banya from Seinfeld.

But i can tell you don't look like him in real life. funny how it works, I have a photo of me, and with the combination of light and shadow I look exactly like Russel Crowe, it's scary.

Well, Cub - the guy's name is Steve Hytner as far as I could find out through IMDB ... I don't think I really look that much like him, but then again - I can't really say anything about it as I always have difficulty figuring out who people look like.

Super Congratulations on the "getting a woman" front. Now if only I could figure out what one of those is, how they work, and what I gotta do to keep one. I've accidentally had a few, but I think I didn't work em right, because they ended up running off. I never had a pet that ran off ...

The manual is written as you live life. If I have learned two things in 38 years of marriage, it's this: 1. Be ready to say (and really mean) "I'm sorry." Then prove it by actions. 2. Be rady to say (and really mean), "I love you." Then prove it by actions.

However, if I find that any of you guys and gals ever say, "I'm sorry I love you," I'm gonna roll up a PD strategy guide and beat you over the head with it.

Jim, that's an awesome story. If only everyone were as lucky as you seem to have been.

1) Does she know/like Tex?
2) Well, that's about it actually.

Or in my case, If I have learned two things in 9 years of girlfriends, it's this:

1. Be ready to say (and really mean) "I'm sorry I took your parking space." Then prove it by actions.
2. Be ready to shake your head in resignation. Then walk away.

Don't confuse the two. I did once. Cost me an hour cleaning the luminous paint off my front bumper.
