I think a bear would probably win against a colt. Although they're both evenly matched in some aspects such as both being able to rear up onto two legs. However a bear I think would have the ability to overpower the skinnier colt and they also are carnivorous creatures so they're basically built for hunting such as forward facing eyes, sharp teeth and claws. The colt would perhaps win though if the bear made the mistake of trying a sneak attack from behind as he'd get a face full of hooves.
(yes that was a joke)

@Sai: Yes, this is very sensible explanation even for a sports ignorant like me.
@Cubase: Ok, this narrows it down to USA. So I guess it must be either Baseball or American Football, one of these games which not many people outside of the US are interested in and know about.

Seeing as how hell is freezing over...literally and figuratively here in the midwest, why fight it.... This Packer fan is actually rooting for the Bears.
DAMN, never thought I'd hear myself say that.

YES! COLTS WIN! COLTS WIN! COLTS WIN!
BooYAAAA!
God I love football. Yeah, nobody outside of the US likes football, but to the average american male, football is like the holiest shrine of all shrines. Peyton *did* deserve that ring, and I'm so glad he has it now. Man that was a WILD game.

Do you mean soccer or American football?
Actually soccer is watched by people in the whole world - except the USA - so you can consider it as an international sport.

Truth is, I don't give a shirt, or even a jacket -
but, I can't wait to see the look on my psyche professor's face, who is a
huge Bears fan, and insists on blabbing about their greatness for around ten minutes - in
your face, psyche professor

PS ~ American Footbal is the most boring sport I've ever watched, and I've watched Curling
