Weird dream...
That's an interesting dream. I imagine that you went back for the games once you had full knowledge that your family were safeCubase wrote:I had the strangest dream last night... the world was about to end... actually, most of the planet had been engulfed by a huge fireball of some sort and it was only a matter of time before it struck where I live and so we were all being told to evacuate. We all had to catch a train to get as far away from the carnage as possible, and I was right at the train station but I deliberately missed the last train out of town so that I could run back home and grab my Tex Murphy games in their boxes to save them.![]()
Actually, the dream was much longer than that. It actually went for, well, what felt like 2 hours, and panned out like a movie, with a beginning, and story and an ending (then ending is a little fuzzy) but man iut was an amazing adventure!
I am now a little concerned about my brain's interpretation of my committment to the Tex Murphy games... am I a little whack!?

If I were to analyse that though, I couldn't get much out of it apart from the most obvious and straight forward readings. The fireball possibly represents the company's who absorb the Tex Murphy rights and burn them to ashes, thus ensuring another game does not surface. Meanwhile, there you are, running back to get the games out of harms way from the fireball which is a representation of your involvement here and also as a devoted fan.
It could also be that there is a light at the end of the tunnel but ironically, that light could be what burns or rekindles the series. Sure, a company may purchase the rights and give the green light for a game, but what awaits beyond that can only be discovered by letting it happen.
