Happy Birthday George Lopez...
Regarding the list of comedians. One of the guys you've got up there is Martin Lawrence. There are a lot of black comedians out there, but for some reason, I put Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock and Chris Tucker together. Of thoses three, I think Chris Rock is the funniest, then Chris Tucker, and then Martin Lawrence.
Some of the other greats that I always liked are Jonathan Winters, Benny Hill, Marty Feldman, and Jackie Gleason, George Burns and Bob Hope.

Bill Hicks - Number 1 and the rest fall in the order as I think of them
Dane Cook
Denis Leary
Jeff Foxworthy
Brian Regan
Nick DePaulo
Nick Swardson
and so on and so on and so on
If you don't like Dane cook, you are stupid. lol Actually, I've noticed that some people aren't into his humor. And that's cool..I personally think he is very funny. Although, his earlier stuff in comparison to his newer stuff is by far his best. You should listen to the harmful if swallowed cd..it's freaking hilarious, but then compare it to his most recent comedy outing and they are worlds apart. But then again, comedy is one of those things that it's basically what humor level and what taste you have. That's what it comes down to really when determining what comedian you are gonna like as opposed to who you aren't gonna like. For instance, Dr. Paul said he likes Martin Lawrence...I cannot stand Martin Lawrence. I think he is overrated in every aspect of his career. But that's just me. Different stroke for different folks.

I'm a man of peace. Though I've been attributed words I've not said, I'm willing to leave the entire thing for a quiet neighborhood.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Yeah, I was just messing with you anyway. I don't care for him, but I know a lot of people find him very funny.adninsreaction wrote:freepizza wrote:There is no possible way that you can like both Bill Hicks and Dane Cook. As a matter of fact you might be correct about his earlier stuff being better. I remember quite some years ago before he was famous I heard one of his acts and I had a few laughs.

yeah, it's very true. I still think he's very funny, don't get me wrong...but you can tell a difference in the quality of jokes from his first cd up to his latest release. Which is kinda a reverse for Bill Hicks...I thought his comedy got stronger as the years went on. If you are into Bill Hicks, check out a cd called Salvation. It's a two disc release recorded at Oxford University in I believe 92 or 93. Very very funny stuff.
