Norway. Hmm. We have... I dunno. The occasional bee? A wasp now and then? Some mosquitos in the summer...
During winter we have like... hmm... I dunno, the ploughmobile? Oh and snow, of course.
If you really want to venture out into nature we have this snake thingy that's so common it's hardly deadly unless you spend a week getting to the hospital.
Oh okay then... We also have three bears or something, and about ten wolves. But good luck finding them.
Some times I really like living here.
Oh, and did I mention the world's most lovely girls live here?

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Well, firstly ... our trip is not going to Victoria or anywhere south of Sydney according to our plan. Our trip is going to be as follows:New South Wales:
City of Sydney: Harbour Bridge, Opera House, IMAX theatre, Darling Harbour
Hunter Valley (a must for the appreciators of fine wine and food)
Blue Mountains (and the Jenolan caves!!)
Kangaroo Valley (some of the most tranquil rolling landscapes you will see)
Parkes (largest radio telescope in the southern hemisphere if you want to see where the moon landing was broadcast from)
Last but not least: Me! (I can help tour you around Sydney if you like, I've done it many times before and I love it!)
Queensland:
Sunshine Coast (what else can I say)
Surfer's Paradise (self explanatory)
Cairns (of course)
Byron Bay (bring your weed, and incense)
Great Barrier Reef (a MUST)
...and if you make it to the Whitsunday islands try and visit Hamilton and Hayman Islands
Victoria:
Catch a match of Australian Rules football at the MCG... let me know closer to the date and I will let you know when the big games are).
We start in Sydney where we will be for a few days. From there we lease a car for 14 days where our plan so far is to go to the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley and otherwise up the East Coast to Brisbane. From there we will go to Fraser Island and then return to Brisbane where we will "drop off" the car, fly to Alice Springs for a 4-day trip to Ayer's Rock, The Ulgas and Kings Canyon. Afterwards we will fly to Cairns where we will stay at a great resort in Palm Cove for 5 days until we via Sydney will fly back to Europe.
So as it looks right now - Victoria and the Canberra-area is out of the question, but the other things sound nice. And perhaps if there are any other nice things along the route, it would be great to hear about that
As for our stay in Sydney, we have yet to find a place to stay, but we were just thinking of something cheap close to the center, as we will most likely be out most of the day and only "use" our room when we need to sleep. Got any ideas there?
