To Any Present $5000+ Backers
Well, you all certainly have me jealous. If only I could have afforded $5K or more. I said way back on the old UTM board that, if I won the lottery, I would fund the whole project. Sadly, I'm still waiting...
In any case, thanks to everyone who contributed that kind of $$ and I hope you enjoy the rewards. Promise the rest of us you'll post lots of details and photos.

Some may doubt you, but I'm going to take you at your word and say "thanks' from all of us who don't have the means to provide that kind of backing.freepizza wrote:I'm not afraid to admit. I was one of the 10k backers, but I turned down the reward. That's how much I love Tex.
And I would say to you, at least take something of a momento of the new game. Maybe you don't want a part in the game, or some of the other stuff, but at least have something... you really do deserve it. How bout the trenchcoat to go with the Fedora?
BTW, to any/all of you $5K & $10K backers, didn't you just love the "Add $20 for international Shipments" at the end of the pledge descriptions? I laughed so hard I nearly pe....., well, I laughed pretty hard, that's all I can say.
Yeah I was wonderingJen wrote:Bless you Chandler, but Freep is full of baloney.
After all freep did say he had a big plot to withdraw money at the last moment as part of the anti-Tex cult.
Of course if it is true, like in the pizza who cried wolf story, then thats awesome

Freep, if you really are being disingenuous, then shame on you. I've never understood why some people think it's funny to play pranks on others. It smacks of people with such low self-esteem that they just have to make themselves feel better by showing that they are somehow more clever than their peers. Such lameness is seldom equalled.
If you're on the level, then please accept my apology and revert back to my previous post.
Jen, thanks for the clarification. I feared this might be the case, but was hoping it was not.

@Chandler: These two threads kind of explain it:
