Biggest bunch of crap our parents ever tried pulling on us. Before your post I didn't realize that it was an international conspiracy.

Yeah, it's a quite handy ploy for stalling :)

Speaking of Swimming, I'm taking the family to an Indoor Waterpark... These places are huge, not quite an Outdoor water park, but you don't have to plan your trip around the Weather Patterns...

We're going to the one in PA... They have about a dozen parks in different states... I'd like to go somewhere a bit more exotic or tropical, but we're already doing Disney for over a week in November, plus I can't go away right now for more than a few days at most with what's going on at work... Which unfortunately is going to last until September it seems... So I'm gonna make sure I take a lot of these couple day trips and have some fun...

It was this busy in every street in town

And a big thank you to Joliet Jane for hosting these on the net for me. :D

Nice pics Demonlawyer. I imagine as that competition gets even more popular it'll only get harder, due to the massive amount of people getting in your way!

The run itself was pretty crowded, though thankfully most people were running the same direction. When the bulls were near, most people ran sideways towards the walls, the ones that were too slow went for a tumble.

My pleasure. They look very cool!
I've considered doing the Bull Run... Good Pics...
How was it besides the people trying to run side ways???

Sadly I can't take credit for those pics of the indoor Waterpark, I got them off of their site... This will be our first time going... If we like it, since my son's B-Day is in the Winter, we might make it a regular B-Day Trip for him, until he "Outgrows" it or it becomes "Uncool"... lol

Here are a few pics from my favorite vacation getaway:

A shot of our villa as viewed from the Shark pool (our hot tub is jutting out on the balcony above the umbrella in the picture):

When I go to Cobo, I pack very light. I put a pair of clean under ware in one pocket, my bathing suit in another pocket, and that is it. The perfect vacation.
You own a Villa too Doc??? Wouldn't happen to be through Starwood, would it???

Very Nice Pics by the way...

I'm hitting Hawaii next Spring myself... I think we are going to start our England Vacation planning here soon as well... I really want to meet my wife's grandfather before he passes, the man is in his 80s, so I don't think there will be much more time to put off the trip... Besides my wife wants him to meet his Great Grandson as well, which I can't blame her for that of course...

Nice pics Dr Paul - very idyllic. I love holidays like that. Still not sure about the stools in the pool though. :)

Baftis - the whole experience was amazing - aside from running, the rest of the time there is one non stop party in every street in town. A bottle of 'champagne' (cheap fizzy wine) cost about $3 and a big bottle of sangria was about $5, so most people were spraying it around and throwing it at people, putting it in water pistols etc, hence why my clothes got ruined.

It must be the biggest street party in the world and I'd love to go back one day.

Sounds like a Foreign Mardi Gras... Good Times... I went to Mardi Gras about 11 years ago, just before my son was born... That's a kick ass party they throw down there...

It's a time share. I only 'own' it for one week a year. The timeshares are managed by TradingPlaces and also by Interval.
