It sounds and looks quite nice, but I don't speak or read German, so I'm gonna have to ask you to translate a bit more... If you'd be so kind...

Just scroll to the upper right corner of the Memento Mori homepage. There is a half english, half american flag. Just click that and the whole language on the site is in english.

I just found a very good report about the Gabriel Knight games on Adventure Classic gaming.
Interesting for GK fans and aswell for adventurefans -that have missed the most atmospheric series of all time- in general. The report is really written from someone that loves Janes work as much as I do. Here is the link:

Janes writing talents are pretty unique and a lot of adventures throughout the last years had the problem that people wrote them that aren´t real authors like Jane ( or AC) , I´ve never seen the depth that Jane brought to adventuregames in other games after that ,so this quote really brings it to the point. Great work!
There is also a growing interest among gamers in that essential element of story. Too many games today have derivative stories that are mere extras on which to base the game’s action, whereas real stories, written by real storytellers (not just those who think they can write), actually touch the gamers. They lodge in the heart; they offer rich images, powerful characters, abiding moments that sustain. That is what Jane Jensen can deliver, and that is why the future of the adventure genre almost certainly depends on her.

Hopefully it is a sign that Adventure Games are ready to make a BIG Comeback and AC will be able to get the budget he needs for his game...
That Gabriel Knights Series, how easy/hard is it to get them to run on Modern Operating Systems???

By the way, the very same site that I just mentioned ( The one with the Gabriel Knight Feature) has some stunning reviews on UAKM, The pandora directive and Overseer.
Just like all 3 Gabriel Knight games these 3 Tex games all gained the highest possible rating!
Here´s the link again if you´re interested in the Tex reviews.

Great site and their editor is a very nice person beside that.
Read the Tex reviews and you´ll know why this is a wonderful site.

Yeah Dracula : Origin. I don´t know when it´s released worldwide , but the german release date is in June. I´ll probably write the review on that, despite that we asked the publisher if they can send us a preview version. If there is something playable I´ll write the preview soon.
In that case I´ll share my thoughts about it then. Otherwise I´ll give you some info in June when we get the full review version.
The games that company did before Origin really sucked, but this one looks really nice and seems to be a step forward.
There´s so much potential in the Bram Stoker licence and I hope it gets the atmosphere a Dracula game deserves, but the screenshots seem to promise that.

I love the Dracula storyline...it's so wide open for new interpretations on how to continue the storyline or how to retell it. I love the classic Castlevania games with the story of Simon Belmont and the Belmont family...I think my favorite "add-on" story to the Dracula legend to date is on the Dracula Unleashed PC game (also released on Sega CD). It's basically ten years after the events in the Dracula story, but the main character is Alexander Morris, Quincy's younger brother from Texas. He receives a letter from Father Janos, the romanian priest, telling him he needs to go to London and investigate the circumstances of his Brothers death. When he arrives there, people start to turn up dead, with their bodies completely drained of the blood. Very good storyline I feel. Live actors and great soundtrack to create an eerie feel.

Can anyone give me any info on Traitors Gate 2??? Is it worth the time to play it???

I didn´t play it myself but it got 28% (!!!!!) on our site, on another big german adventure site
it got 31 %. I read a bit of our review and not that the final verdict wouldnt speak for itself, I wouldn´t recommend you to spend 1 penny on that game. Often the final verdict has something to do with personal taste, but when a game receives 28 and 31 procent it must be HORRIBLE!!
Better spend the money on the Gabriel Knight games.
EDIT: Here´s an english review on Traitor´s gate 2
